Englewood Area Planning Advisory Board

This document is a copy of the First Report and Recommendations of the Englewood Area Planning Advisory Board (EAPAB).

This report was formally adopted by the EAPAB on September 4, 1996 by the unanimous vote of its members. This report has been forwarded to the governing bodies of Charlotte County, Sarasota County and the City of North Port for their review, consideration and action.

The EAPAB has requested a joint summit meeting with all three bodies before the end of this year. This joint meeting is intended to provide a forum to review these recommendations and to develop a consensus for formulating a plan of action.

This report, which contains over 140 specific recommendations, is divided into five chapters:

* Introduction
* Transportation
* Drainage
* Public Safety
* Utilities
